Reading Selectively or Extensively

Reading weighs heavily effectiveness in our daily learning.

Some people think that we should reading selectively,because there are various kinds of books waiting for you including benificial and inferior.You should distinguish between them and select the good for yourself.Good books can help you to improve your temperement while evil books can only dull your mind.

Others advise us need to reading extensively.While doing that,we can have a widely concept about the whole world and make our minds more open.So when a total world display in our minds we can distinguish beauty from vicious.

The best way to overcome it-so at least it seems to me-is to reading extensively which can make your interests gradually wider and more impersonal,and surely you will gain a lot from doing so.

Is a Test of Spoken English Necessary?

A test of spoken English will be included as an optional component of the College English Test(CET).This helps to evaluate the quality of the students' English learning.

In this sort of test,there is a common phenomena that holding a spoken Eglish test is crucial and indispensible on the grounds that spoken Eglish is another aspect of Eglish,written Eglish just can not tell a person''s Eglish good or poor.

Some people are back up to other views.They think that as our students''study burden is already heavy enough.A spoken Eglish test will precisely strengthen it but gain little.

However,on my personal level,spoken Eglish is greatly necessary. Because China has entered WTO,and international communication grows increasingly popularity. We,students,should spare no pains to gain more knowledge about spoken Eglish.
