Reading Selectively or Extensively
There is no consense of opinion among people as to how to read books. Some people are in favor of reading selectively. But the other people argue that reading books should be extensively.
Those who insist on reading selectively think that how much books they read is not important for them. They concern which kinds of books are worthy of reading. For one thing, they have not enough time to read books extensively. Their time have taken up by job. For another, there are many harmful books on the market. The intelligent people must distinguish them from good books.
However those who suggest reading books should extensively think this way of reading can help them obtain knowledge . With the development of society, we must obtain a variety of knowledges which can expand our views. They also think the valuable imformation are offered by books are experience which contribute to live in society better.
As far as I am concerned, I agree with the latter opinion. The signifance of reading good books extensively is valuable. Extensively reading has many advantages which make we enjoy the books. There is no such a thing as extensively reading.
