Caring for the elderly

Thanks to the new century’s advanced medical technology and the high-quality lifestyle, people can live for a much longer time than ever. The increasing number of elderly is suggestive of this trend. In huge population China, as a result, the society is turning to a elder condition. This means there is a great part of elderly community, and the trend is actually a headache problem.


As a college student, we should take some efforts for elderly. To start with, if you have a grandma, for instance,you should force more attention on her. Just attribute some of your caring to her and communicate more designed to distracting her from feeling longly. In the second place, in your part time, you can go watching for elderly who do not have any relatives around. Do some helps for his life and try to work out a solution for his being out of caring. Last but not least, if possible, you can stage some activities advocating for social caring for elderly on their medicine, housing and so on.


Caring for the elderly is a traditional virtue in China. We 21th century students should follow this virtue and spread it over a far more spectrum.
