目前，学校正在讨论是否变单一的教学体制为立体式教学，即除单一课本授课外，采用多媒体及网络教学。
请写一封信给学校报社说明你对此的看法。内容应涉及传统教学方法的局限性、立体式教学的优越性以及二者应互为补充。
   A Letter to University Newspaper on Changing Teaching System
                                                         October7,2007
Dear Sirs,
            I'm a college student.Now,colleges and universities are discussing whether we should replace the single
teaching with internet and multimedia teaching.In the past,we only used the textbooks to study.Our teachers
wrote on the blackboard,and we wrote whate the teachers wrote.As a result,problems emerged.The teachers
were tired of it,and the way wasted time too.By way of contrast,if we make use of the multimedia ,which is very
convenient,the teachers could teach us more konwledge than before because of the timesaving method.It is flexible for
us to use the internet.The internet is central to our study.We can acquire a wealth of konwledge,which
relates to our courses.For instant,we can study standard English.However,we still should attach importance
to the single teaching. We should reconcile the past way with the new and apply the two attitudes to our
teaching and study activities.

Dear Jack：
I'm glad to hear that you were accepted by China University of Mining and Technology ,which is a top and famous university across the nation and the colliery system.
When it comes to entering college,you have to be brought face to face with the key difference between the middle school life and the college life,and you should adapt yourself to it before long. in the first place,the pace of course progression is much faster in contrast to the middle school.Obivously,out of the reason ,you should be aware that you should preview the course before the time for class. And you should also review what the professor teaches and complete the homework in time. In addition,there are no end of colleges which you can take part in(participate in) according to your interest(这句话不通顺). They hold a wealth of activities at intervals to enrich our college lives and improve our a variety of abilities.Take myself as an example,I attended the reading college to interact with others who enjoy reading liberal books and also broden my horizens. Here are some suggestions for you.
simply put(in a word),the college life is very abundant. Despite you still work hard(do a serious studying) and make a greater progress.

On Success
Everyone longs for scoring success,as a junior in the 21th century,I also desire to
achieve success. There are a wealth of paths to taste success.Higher education ,
for instance,we can acquire a deeper understanding of the specialized knowledge.
Take me as an example,I am learning Material in China University and Mining
Technology. I already have won a large amount of specialized knowledge. In addition,
I took some optional electives which in relation to Material,such as Nano Material.
However,the channel to gain success boils down to assiduity. Einstein indicated that
the success is equal to ninety-nine percent hard-work and one percent genius. If you
don't strive and have no enough abilities to cope with problems,even though there is a
good opportunity for you,you may miss it either. Simply put, we must do a serious
studying if we desire to score success.

On Success

How To Be Likable In Social Life
In our modern social life,everyone longs for being likable.If others admit you,
your a wealth of social activities could spread out easily.
But it is not easy to be likable,because we must enjoy enough makings,
such as respect,the good communication way . Especially,it is worth our attention that
the way to get along well with others.From my perspective, we should be honest when
we interact with others. To be honest pays off. Because honesty can earn a host of close
friends ,wins honour ,respect and wealth. On the contrasty,once people find that you contain
a deception,they may far away from you. So, you would not be likable in their eyes.Even
you may miss masses of opportunities,which can assist you achieve success. Therefore,
we should be honest in our modern community. Only do this, we may be likable.

What causes a boom in celebrating foreign festivals
Observing western festivals has grown into over the past decades. But in our modern society, it is a national passion,especially on campuses.Someone defines that the
reason is that college students blindly worship for the foreign festivals.
Thanks to reform and opening up,we are now exposed to countless novel things,
which include foreign festivals. As a young adult,celebrating festivals is not wrong. It
could enrich our own culture and expand a new window to the outside world, for all that
it can date back over thousands of years. However, it is worth our attention that we
shouldn't lose our traditional festivals, such as National Day,Spring Day. Simply put,
when we are brought face to face with the western festivals ,we must keep in the
memory of our traditional festivals.
