题目:Advance of Study on Design Methods of Hydraulic System
of Radio Remote Control of Construction Machinery

        Abstract:The working principle of radio remote controlling of construction machinery should be that signals of the radio wave from the transmitter obtained in the receiver were controlled and then changed into electronic analog or digital signals which can be used to drive different actuators and mechanisms of the vehicle.The vehicle could be acted by following the controlling instructions sent by the operator.The best operation mode of construction machinery is suitable not only to manual operating but also to remote controlling in the same vehicle.The design methods of the hydraulic system used for the radio remote controlling of construction machinery are discussed.The design methods of hydraulic circuits for the actuators controlled by solenoid on-off type valves,hydro-electronic multi-way proportional valves,closed loop proportional servo driver or threeway proportional reducing valves are discussed in detail (with real example).The design methods of the power shift transmission of electro-hydraulic controlling,the devices of braking and the directional streering are discussed in this paper.

1 Introduction
    Radio remote controlling of construction machinery can be used widely in dirty,dangerous and harmful
places,such as demolishing dangerous building,cleaning waste and rubbish,resisting flood and relieving
disaster etc.The working principle can be illustrated as Fig.1.On the side of transmitter the operation in-
struction was encoded and carrier wave was modulated and amplified,then were sent by transmitted anten-
na.Synchronously,on the side of receiver the radio wave was carrier demodulated and decoded into control
signal〔1〕and then was amplified.The hydraulic valves and electronic motors were controlled by these signals and then made the actuators to work according to the instruction.
  Normally,the construction machinery was operated manually.Many of their hydraulic systems were
designed for this purpose.The ordinary construction machinery operated manually will be changed into ra-
dio remote controlled.The relationship between the mechanical actuators and the electronic signals will be
established first.Based on this point,the electronic controlling problems of actuator working,gear shifting,
braking and steering relating to the radio remote controlling of construction machinery will be discussed in
this paper.
2 Design method for working actuators of hydraulic system
The control of working device is the most important part of the radio remote control of construction
machinery.The working speed could be adjustable.The design method should be as follows.
2.1 As to switch controlling the hydro-electronic proportional valves were replaced by solenoid on-off
type valves based on the idea of time adjusting
The solenoid on-off type valves with adjusting valves of flow-rate can be used to the radio remote con-
trolling of hydraulic circuit of construction machinery to replace hydro-electronic proportional valves in this
method.In order to adjust the speed of actuators (i.e. The time of the actuators action),the flow-rate to
the actuators beforehand could be adjusted.The advantage of this method is low cost and can be parallel
linked to the previous manual circuit easily,but its disadvantage is that it cannnot be regulated in time.
2.2 The analog controlling is used to hydro-electronic multi-way proportional valves controlling of actua-
tors
The advantage of this design method is that the valves are occupied little space and regulated easily.It
could be operated manually also.Its disadvantage is higher cost.The working principle of multi-way pro-
protional valve controlling of actuators of a bulldozer was showed in Fig.2〔2,3〕.This design method is more
direct and popular.
2.3 The analog controlling is used to closed loop proportional servo driver to operate the manual multi-
way valves spools to control the actuators
Up to now,the closed loop proportional servo driver special used for construction machinery have been
developed and come to be used by several companies in the world.It could be used to drive the manual multi-way valves spools directly and the whole devices working as one set of proportional valve.The working principle of proportional servo driver was illustrated in Fig.3.The piston was controlled by two of the
three-way proportional pressure reducing valves.Its position was picked up by LVDT (position sensor) as
feedback signal.The errors between input and output were made to be lessen by the controller,so the spool
of manual multi-way valve could be working according to input signals.The advantage of this method is
that the previous manual operate circuit will not be changed.This system can be rebuilt easily.Its disad-
vantage is that the driver needs some space to be placed
2.4 By means of the three-way proportional reducing valves,the pressure-pilot type multi-way valves can
be controlled and the actuators can be driven
As mentioned above,the three-way proportional reducing valve is a pilot control valve designed spe-
cially.It could be used in many places where pilot pressure control is required.It could be used to control
pressure-pilot multi-way valves of three-position also.The Fig.4 shows that the cylinder of bulldozer shov-
el was controlled by pressure-pilot multi-way valve.Meanwhile this valve was operated by three-way pro-
portional reducing valve.Its characteristic is similar to that of the multi-way proportional valve.The design
method for pressure-pilot valve could be controlled either by electronic signals or by manual operating.The
realization of fourth position (floating position) was illustrated in Fig.4.The advantage of this design
method is the system can be rebuilt easily and operated reliably
